With these kind of deals you always end up rebuilding the whole engine. Recently did that with a 50hp 4 cyl diesel in a dutch cabin cruiser.

Who would have thought a trim clip removal tool would be the best for removing trim retaining clips? OMG, it's like it was designed for it..

I know why they welded that big c-channel on the side of the mower. This diesel engine without good knowledge of diesels, didn't probably understand glow plugs a lot. Then they cranked and cranked in cold weather and decided we can stop that and put on a twice size battery. Seeing you run it, it really doesn't need it but heck use it and thank him for making it big for you. Paint the heck out of that c-channel and use it, won't hurt you. I tried to put a bigger battery in my Journey and blew the computer costing me a thousand bucks. My own stupidity. But ya'll seem smarter than me. I used to be smart but at 77 am getting dumber every day. Hope and pray I don't kill my wife in a stupid car wreck.

That thumb would be more efficient if you had a hydraulic ram attached to it and a curved claw at the tip. A Serrated edge on the back side of your tooth would catch the roots good to push them away and upward.

Pretty bad deal when you paid 2,300 for a riding mower that you had to put more money and labor into. I bought a riding mower for 50 bucks without all the fancy bells and whistles and probably cuts grass as good as yours does.

The generator is only attached to it's bracket by 2 small (probably ¼") bolts. Notice how it jumps when you turn on the band saw. It would do the same thing when driving the lift over uneven or rough ground. I would suggest bending some ¼" rod into a U shape around the generator, then threading the ends so they go through the plate the original bracket is mounted on. Put some ¼" rubber hose on the rod before you bend it around the generator and pinch the mounting plate with nuts on both sides. That way the bands won't shake loose, yet they can still allow the rubber to dampen vibration.

I think the cabin makes the excavator look like what it is but it might be better to take it off. Quite interesting project and can't wait to see more!!! Black and orange color sceme sounds good👍👍

My wife's mower is a 1996 John Deere 425 all wheel steering. We have owned it about 6 years. She loves it. It has around 700 hours and as far as I know still has the plastic timing gear. Eventually it will fail and I will replace it.

That's probably because of you either got a bad belt or the chain or something underneath that drives the mower the belt the drive belt is no good

Im you know it but just in case... in the tool kit there is a manual foot shifter attachment on the rancher ES . We found this out the hard way miles away from home as kids and it was stuck in 4th or 5th gear and wouldnt move luckily we rode dirtbikes too and noticed it had the provisions for a foot shifter and dug around and found it and go home in the dark . The electric shift is great when it works but when it acts up is a pita

Believe there should be a switch on each side of steering cylinder. When u turn hard left it closes of the valve that feeds the right hydraulic tire motor , Which makes it turn left even sharper. Same for a hard right turn to the steering lock limit switch, turns off left wheel motor Etc. Just like a zero turn

I hate to see a piece of equipment like that neglected by its previous owners . Have the wear on that machine is because someone could t take the time to grease the bushings . Excavators need grease , all the time . If you take care of them they last much much longer .

That frame is def still cracked. Looks like it was welded up once. Cracked again and then they just welded the top edge the second time. Prob should address that at some point

I'd advise the black plastic spiral wrap for the hydraulic hoses. Makes it look nice and won't get tore up as much as the steel wire type. Nice channel btw, no hype or click bait ! Cheers, Ard

that engine oil filter is a mitsubshi you can get it from a mitsubshi auto dealer ,as i use the same on my ride on mower

Good video! I know where to go when I need to work on my Kawasaki FD620D that's actually in a JD 318. I had a problem with it quitting on me after 45 minutes. They did not put the fuel pump in a very good spot on those engines because it's right above the exhaust header. If I run regular unleaded E10 fuel in it, it vapor locks and quits. However, if I run non-ethanol fuel in it, I don't have that problem.

The equivalent new tractor is six or $7000 new. That’s a great deal! It seems to be more metal and more serious than the the new one! It’s half the price but a lot of people e would think it was too much! They would believe you might as well get the new one and make payments!😂
